Jonas Deichmann | Cape-to-Cape World Record

In Episode 038 of Bike Tour Adventures, I have the opportunity to catch up with Jonas Deichmann, an ultra-endurance cyclist that was previously a guest in Episode 13. Currently holding two Guinness Book records as the fastest cyclist to cross Eurasia and the fastest cyclist to ride the Pan-America.

When I last spoke with Jonas, he was preparing for a monstrous 18,000km, record-setting challenge, which would take him from Northkapp, Norway, all the way down through Europe, the Middle East, and Africa until finishing in Cape Town, South Africa.

In today’s episode we are going to talk about his most recent journey, the gear he used to take on this challenge, as well as his experiences and lessons learned during this newest adventure.
