Hurt'n Albert'n 550

From the Heartland to the Badlands to the Foothills of the Canadian Rockies, this race traverses the countryside showcasing the Southern Albertan paradigm… Big City and Small Towns, Wheatfields and Oilfields, Forest and Forestry… Or is it paradox?

Prepare to be at your limit (and beyond) as you battle the elements and your inner self as you travel the Province’s lesser-known roads and through it’s lesser-known places under your own power, without outside support.

This route was created by Justin Chadwick and Trevor Anderson.

The Hurt’n Albert’n was not created by the team at Bikepack Adventures. It’s sharing on this website is for informational purposes only. The route is no longer run as an event and I was not able to get in touch with the original route creator.

Traveller. Cyclist. Expat. Over 15 years experience living abroad in six different countries. I've travelled to over 40+ countries and met countless travellers, cyclists, and other expats. As a passionate cyclist I've had opportunities to bike tour in some truly amazing places. While definitely not an expert at bike touring, I'm passionate about sharing bike touring stories and helping others learn hacks, tricks, and techniques to improve their touring experience. I look forward to you joining me on this journey of learning about and becoming a better bike tourist.
